With a bucket load of passion and a touch of rambunctiousness, JimmyRum Distillery presents its first Victorian produced rum releases – crafted right here in our Dromana Distillery!
RumRum and Cask Strength RumRum are produced from Australian made and owned molasses, distilled in our gorgeous Italian copper still Matilda, aged in 200L ex-bourbon barrels for three years and released in single cask or small batch blends.
Each batch of RumRum is cut (ABV adjusted) to be the best sipping rum it can be. Rums to raise the gauntlet to fine whiskies and brandies, rums to truly show “what rum can be”.
These sipping rums are produced to be savoured; best enjoyed neat, on ice or with a drop or two of water.
The bottles will be released for sale online and from the Distillery Door from 10am on Saturday May 21, 2022.
This milestone is hugely important for JimmyRum, as we continue our mission to change the way Australians think about rum.
“We’ve battled our way through uncharted waters for six years to finally reach our most important milestone – the bottling of JimmyRum RumRum,” says James McPherson, aka Jimmy.
“From my mad 2am ‘light bulb moment’ and a dream to build Victoria’s first dedicated craft rum distillery, to now bottling our first Mornington Peninsula produced rum, this moment is truly what JimmyRum was put together to do – produce premium Australian craft rum.”
